We have an electric Vornado heater in the Casita. It looks like this and it's very easy to use: You just have to set the temperature on the device or the remote and it will take care of the rest. Note: Please don't use the propane ceramic heater located under the desk -- that's much more temperamental and hard to use. This electic heater works great.

The Lagoon Retreat is available to rent as a corporate rental for periods of 6+ months (12+ months preferred). The rate is $15,000/month. The Lagoon Retreat is fully furnished and includes all utilities. We have a number of bed configuration options, including: Bedrooms # 2 and # 3: One King or two Singles in each room. Here's how the bed configurations look: Innovation Room: We have options for one or two inflatable queen mattresses (one downstairs, and one in the loft). These are Serta inflatable mattresses, and guests consistently tell us they're quite comfortable (we agree). When the inflatable queens are set up there isn't as much room to move around in the Innovation room, so we don't recommend them unless you need them: Alternatively, we can set up two folding twin beds. These aren't as comfortable and we recommend them only for young children -- they do, however, allow better use of the space:

Here's what you can expect: Coffee Options: • Whole bean medium and dark roast upscale coffees (Peets dark roast and organic Mexican small batch medium roast) • A 12 cup insulated pot coffee machine with timer • A Breville burr griner We also have a Nesprsso machine in the Innovation room with Peets pods (you're welcome to bring your own pods as well). We work to make the Lagoon Retreat a five star experience while keeping the value high. One of the ways we do this is by offering a lower price for just 2 guests, and then incrementing the price for additional guests that are 2 years old or older. As a part of our tax reporting to San Mateo, we must have an accurate count of the number of guests sleeping at the property. It's therefore critical that you put an accurate guest count in when reserving the property. If the count is inaccurate, we reserve the right to cancel the resveration early and charge a $500 fee to account for the additional work we need to do to remain in compliance with the tax reporting. If you're planning a team offsite and want an easy, delicious way to feed a group, but you don't want the expense of a private chef,(https://www.lagoonretreat.net/knowledgebase/search/private-chef) we recommend bringing a paella vendor in. We've done this, and it's a great way to feed a team and have them enjoy the cooking experience in the process. The paella vendor will typically set up a few hours ahead of time and cook the paella on-site. This setup works very well in our back yard or on our dock (assuming the weather is warm enough, which it easily is between March - September). You can also have the vendor set up on the deck and eat inside if the weather is too cool (although we also have patio heat lamps (https://www.lagoonretreat.net/knowledgebase/outside/do-you-have-patio-heaters-and-how-do-i-use-them)for the dock).
