The shower in the master bathroom has a special "anti scald" feature that can be tricky to use the first time, but easy once you know what to do. If you would like extra blankets, we have them in the drawers under the television set.

This toy requires a bit of commitment to set up and take down, so I don’t recommend taking it out unless you are ready for the job! Make sure you watch the full video before getting started. No need to inflate the Jacuzzi—it’s ready to go! Here are instructions on how to turn the Jacuzzi on, set the temperature, and if necessary, replace the filter: Using the Jacuzzi at the Lagoon retreat 

Here are instructions on how to use the kitchen sink (which has a sensor) as well as the boiling water to the right of it. Be careful with the boiling water: It is 200 degree (almost boiling) hot water that will scald you if you touch it. Using the Kitchen sink: Note: If the touch sensor isn't functioning, it may be because we've turned that off, in which case it'll just work as a regular sink faucet. (we sometimes turn the sensor off when the unit needs maintenance). How to use the faucet and the boiling hot water Using the Garbage Disposal: The garbage disposal is a white switch located to the right of the sink, near the microwave (to the left of the microwave on the same wall as the sink is on). The dining room table is temperature sensitive -- please do not put hot items directly on the table. We have placemats and hot pads in the white cabinets next to the table for you to use. How to ensure you don’t damage the dining room table

T here is a row of string lights on the outside deck that should come on automatically at sunset and turn off at 9pm. You can also turn these on and off yourself to override the automatic function by: • Saying to the Alexa speaker (near the dining room table, under the large picture) "Alexa, turn on the deck lights." or "Alexa, turn off the deck lights." • Or, just press the round button on the white deck light timer box that is plugged in outside on the deck just to the right of the mini fridge. We have an electric Vornado heater in the Casita. It looks like this and it's very easy to use: You just have to set the temperature on the device or the remote and it will take care of the rest. Note: Please don't use the propane ceramic heater located under the desk -- that's much more temperamental and hard to use. This electic heater works great.

The Lagoon Retreat is available to rent as a corporate rental for periods of 6+ months (12+ months preferred). The rate is $15,000/month. The Lagoon Retreat is fully furnished and includes all utilities. Optionally, we can include maid service for a rate of $18,000/month, which includes: • Full cleaning & turnover between your corporate guests • Fully stocked snacks cabinet • For guest staying >3 days: Maid service every-other day, as desired by the guest The property has five bedrooms, including three bedrooms with king beds. The Lagoon Retreat has two gaming consoles and an Apple TV: Sony PlayStation 5: We have two consoles and a handful of games -- you're welcome to bring your own PS4 / PS5 games to play! Atari Game Station Pro: Here is the instruction manual:

We've got a bunch of options for you! Video games, Apple TV, Netflix, Disney Plus (etc) and Karaoke: • We've got a Sony Playstation 5 gaming console, as well as an Atari console with over 200 old-school games on it. Learn more about those here. • Both large-screen TVs have AppleTV as well as streaming services that you can log into, including Netflix, Hulu, DisneyPlus, Amazon Prime Video, and more. Indoor games & puzzles: We have a closet full of games and puzzles (including a number of Ravensburger puzzles), along with a beautiful wood chess set.
